I suppose it's a dive by comparison but it's really one of the fanciest bars in Hamtramck. You're not going to find many locals there. I'm guessing your experience might be a bit different at Whiskey in the Jar, Baker's Streetcar, or my personal favorite, The Painted Lady. Don't give up on dive bars, shop around my friend. The $.75 can of Blatz or $1 Black Label is out there. Small’s is sort of a tourist bar. I suppose it’s a dive by comparison but it’s really one of the fanciest bars in Hamtramck.
